Criado Studios was founded by Kylinn and Oluwatosin during a conversation on the living room floor, where they recognized that, in today’s world, women are not truly well. They envisioned a space where women could connect, grow, and prioritize their health and wellbeing.
Based in Atlanta, Criado Studios is a female-led non-profit organization dedicated to bridging the gap between women and wellbeing. The organization’s mission is to provide Community Resources for Inclusion, Assistance, Development, and Opportunity (C.R.I.A.D.O), empowering women through workshops, classes, and community spaces that nourish both mind and body.
THE BRIDGE BETWEEN WOMEN AND WELLBEING
Problem & Strategy: They previously struggled with a monotonous visual identity with no design strategy to support their mission. In this rebrand, my goal was to completely revitalize the branding and tone of Criado Studios. I set out to infuse the brand with boldness, vibrancy, and a fresh sense of purpose, creating an engaging and energetic identity that empowers the organization to confidently champion women’s health and wellness. Through strategic design choices and thoughtful messaging, I successfully established a compelling visual and emotional presence that inspires trust, connection, and positive change in the community.
Execution: I achieved boldness by introducing a striking and memorable color palette that reflects strength and empowerment, ensuring Criado stands out in the nonprofit and healthcare space. I designed a modern logo and cohesive brand elements to communicate confidence and a forward-thinking approach. To bring vibrancy to the brand, I integrated dynamic visuals and typography that evoke energy and positivity, aligning perfectly with Criado’s mission to excite and engage its audience.
